A 1920s Evening

Tremblay’s was hired to provide a 1920’s evening full of historic food and fancy dress! A fun and fancy evening!

Steve usually cooks food for clients but sometimes he cooks for his team. He threw a 1920s themed party for his fellow chefs, his accounts department and his marketing team and their families, celebrating the team’s achievements and showcasing what Tremblays has to offer. The fancy dress was fabulous and the food was even better.

The party took place at a friend’s house in Woking, Surrey. Steve cooked a nine-course, gluten-free tasting menu, because only by eating gluten free can anyone eat as much food as he wants to serve! He chose all his favourite dishes, with flavours picked up from his globe-trotting days in the hotel industry. Highlights included tomato and pepper soup in individual jars; gourmet fish, chips and mushy peas on a tiny scale; fabulous Thai seafood with an exquisite dipping sauce.

As the evening drew to a close, there was street dancing round the bonfire and incredible cocktails from Dave Hurst, part of Steve’s network of other food and drink experts.

A memorable evening – here’s to inspirational dishes and making new friends!
